   Title setup fees

   Corrective verification: €0.75 to €1.5/page, depending on subject, complexity, and specialty. The fee is communicated after the proposed material is received. This fee does not apply to titles published on author's management or published on author’s full-content responsibility.

   Non-native English editing and correction (optional): €3/page

   ISBN assignment:  €20/title. This fee applies only to ebooks and titles published on author's management.

   Imprint:  €29 for P.M.A. (published on author's management) and €39 for I.A.F.C.R (Infarom's author full-content responsibility). 

   Proof copy: €39 for standard books and €17 + €0.11/page for color books (the fees include courier shipping).

   Bookblock setup: €49

   Cover setup: €49 

   Digital catalogue: €12/year

   Ingram catalogue (optional): €59 

   Revision (optional): €49/revised file

   Pre-press fees

   PDF conversion (optional): €0.05/page

   Cover creation (optional): €20 to €50, depending on requested complexity. This fee is communicated after the order is received.

   Ebook virtual cover creation (optional): €10 to €20, depending on the requested complexity. This fee is communicated after the order is received.

      Examples of printing fee calculation:
   – for a standard paperback with 150 pages, 6 x 9 inch trim size, at the US unit:  $1.08 + 150 x $0.0156 = $3.42
    – for a color book with 50 pages, 8.5 x 11 inch trim size, at the UK unit:  £0.84 + 50 x £0.035 = £2.59

   Author direct orders pricing

   Author's direct orders are priced at the production cost (printing plus shipping). Printing costs for author direct orders are noted in the tables in the paragraph titled POD printing fees. For shipping fees, the author must contact us first for an exact calculation, which is based on destination, quantity and shipping method.

   Additional marketing fees

   These fees are communicated to an author when his or her title becomes eligible for these services. At that time, the author’s participation in the cost of these services is also established.

   Wholesale discounts

   Ingram's discount for ebook and POD titles: 55% of list price

   Retailer direct sales discount: 40% to 70% of list price

   Author compensation

   a) Classical publishing: 8% of the list price

   b) POD publishing: 12% of the list price

   What is the total cost of a POD title setup?

   The investment of the author in a new POD title is lower than a similar investment for an initial print through a traditional publishing. In addition, it can be paid in three rates. Here are two examples: 

   1) a standard paperback with 120 pages and a 6 x 9 inch trim size, published under INFAROM imprint. The obligatory fees are: corrective verification - about €90; proof copy - €39; bookblock setup - €49; cover setup -€49; digital catalogue - €12. An optional fee is for a listing in the Ingram catalogue (recommended) - €59. In total, the investment (a one-time investment) for publishing that title is about €239 without advertising in the Ingram catalogue and €298 with this service. You can add to this amount the eventual initial expenses for translation and pre-press fees.
